Fort Gordon is still not allowing off post passes for the 15th signal brigade, which the cyber battalion falls under or for the ordnance AIT on post.

The living conditions at B CTB are ok, its like a college campus that turned into a prison, the rooms themselves aren't that bad, which is good because you will be spending a considerable amount of time in them. There are people at B CTB for well over a year going into two years. This post will solely be to inform those who are thinking about joining what they are in for before they get to their units.Īs a note, the training in the new program is "36 weeks." This does not include any time waiting on clearance or waiting for classes to start due to the fact that if you are an enlisted active duty soldier you are back of the line for classes. This post will not be talking about the job of a 17C or anything that follows. The only thing my recruiter told me was that they all leave after their first contract because a combination of 6 years in cyber and a TSSCI made it incredibly easy to find a job as a contractor outside of the Army making much more money. When I enlisted to join as a 17C it was insanely difficult to find any information on the MOS at all. Do not answer n00b questions on the main boards. (5) We don't all know what a 12V or a 35Q or a 94L is.This includes questions about duty stations, MOSs, boots, or what to take to the field. It is very likely that whatever you are about to post has already been posted before.
